The Statistics Communication Group is a student-led platform for communicating statistics research to the public. Graduate and undergraduate students conducting statistics research can submit a short article for publication on this blog.

Instructions for submission:
- Email your article to [email protected]
- Include a title, your name, and program and year of study
- Provide a relevant, high-quality, landscape image to accompany your writing. If the image is not yours, please follow these steps to find and verify that the image you selected is available for public use.
- Cc your advisor, so they can verify that the writing is an accurate generalization of your research
Audience and General Guidelines
- The audience in mind is the general public with a high school education.
- Keep writing short, a paragraph or two.
- Avoid statistical jargon, but you can use common science terms (e.g. model, hypothesis, or data).
- You can write about your own research, or you can write about a stat concept (e.g. insight into statistics research, causation v. association, or randomness)
